AltaVista – One of the more comprehensive and easily navigable search engines.
Excite – Another search engine.
HotBot – My personal favorite. One drawback is a limit of 1500 results for any search.
InfoSeek – Nicely organized search engine.
The Open Directory Project – The largest human-edited directory of the web.
OpenText – Older search engine which seems to be pretty much out of date.
WebCrawler – Another comprehensive search engine which is spider driven.
Yahoo – Search engine which is heavily categorized.
